Quickly adapt to unforeseen circumstances
This skill was essential for managing my events at ESN Geneva.
My role consisted of organising and managing a group of 50 international students.
It was therefore necessary to be able to adapt quickly and make the right decisions in difficult situations to maintain the cohesion of the group.
As head of the travel committee, I was also responsible for training and guiding new members, who can be destabilised when events don’t go according to plan.
I then realised that, when a decision has to be taken in action, it’s necessary to analyse the situation and make quick and correct choices while continuing to reflect on how the situation is developing.
