Team and project management from concept to completion
developed this skill through various projects carried out within my associations and during my university studies.
The most recent event was the Idea Boom Hackathon. We were asked, in teams of seven, to create a project for EDF in two days, then pitch it in five minutes, with a mock-up to support our presentation. The aim of this Hackathon was to get a team of engineers, designers, and managers working together on a theme. The topic was the ecological footprint of the infrastructure for the 2030 Olympic Games in France, and we had to think about how to revitalize the area after the games. I am pleased to announce that we won against the two other groups working on the same topic.
These include events organized with ESN Geneva, such as 1- to 3-day trips, museum visits, creative events, and hikes. For each event, we had to:
- Come up with an idea
- Put together a team
- Validate a provisional budget
- Book and manage logistics
- Communicate about the event
- Manage registrations
- Supervise the event during its implementation
- Write a final report and check the budget
I also carried out market research for a private client during my experience with Junior Entreprise Genève, which required rigor and organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
In addition, I had the opportunity to create business plans as part of several courses during my Bachelor’s degree in Geneva and my Master’s degree in Lyon, as well as preparing dossiers followed by 5- to 10-minute presentations.
