The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is a game adapted from one of my favorite creations, the audio series The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk. This adventure takes place in the dungeon from the first season, but very early on, it takes us to discover new aspects of the dungeon. I loved this game because it captures the atmosphere of the original work (written by the same creator) and manages to balance nostalgia with novelty.
And of course, the tavern is still present in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk and remains very important. I finally managed to complete the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk and Zangdar after 35 hours of fierce combat and exploration (luckily, I had some chiantos to give me energy).
I still have one cufflink to find. So, if you want to help me, I’m all ears.

Le Game play
The tactical RPG combat style is reminiscent of a good paper role-playing game.
It’s easy to pick up but requires a good deal of thought and a bit of luck in combat.
It’s a good formula, refined by games like XCOM, but best suited to this franchise.
I really liked the variety of skills among the characters, each with their own specialization. The names and effects of the skills are in keeping with the series, which makes me, as a fan, very happy. Finally, the skill tree is simple and effective, offering alternative paths that allow for renewed gameplay and replayability.

I could go on forever about this game and this franchise that shaped my childhood and got me into tabletop role-playing games. But that would spoil the fun for you, so don’t wait any longer—go get the game!
