During my experience with ESN Geneva and Fréquence Banane, I was able to use Slack messaging. We mainly used this messaging service to share information about various projects. The reply to a main message feature prevented the entire association from being bombarded with messages that were not relevant to their project. I find this tool very versatile and easy to use.

I mainly used Discord through ESN CosmoLyon, as well as for gaming and creating communities with my friends or on topics that particularly interested me. The ability to create roles and positions in specialized chat rooms is also useful for avoiding spam messages that are not relevant to us.
